Check chains should not be used without supervision by an experienced trainer, and should never be left on an unsupervised or off leash dog. Above all, owners who would like to prevent their own dog from pulling when walking on the lead, we recommend using a Beaphar Gentle Leader for fast results and effective learning.
We recommend that when you put a collar on your dog, you adjust the collar to leave enough space to be able to snugly slide two fingers in between the collar and your dog’s neck, this allows the collar to be comfortable. However, ensure that the collar is tight enough that the dog cannot slip out of it.
