How do I find the right harness fit?
When choosing a dog harness, the right fit is particularly important.
After measuring the chest circumference, the harness should be fitted taking into account the following points:
- the shoulders and front legs must be able to move freely
- no pressure on the larynx
- the shoulder joint should move freely
- the belly strap sits on the ribcage (at least 2-5 finger widths of space between armpit and belly strap, more for larger sizes)
- the sternum strap rests on the sternum
